In addition to being a Psychotherapist, I am also a qualified Coach. I work in Private Practice helping clients achieve their potential in areas related to business, career, self-development and confidence. I also offer supervision to therapists, coaches and other professionals working in the health, wellbeing and coaching environment.
Many of my skills as a Psychotherapist transfer well into my coaching work, which is concerned primarily with helping individuals achieve change in their life, including recognising their potential, promoting their growth, improving their efficiency and productivity at work and overcoming self-limiting behaviour patterns.
Coaching can help individuals to achieve their true potential, set practical and achievable goals, develop new skills, identify and maximise strengths, develop a greater understanding of values and how these impact life. Coaching can help people overcome negative behaviours and thought processes, which might create difficulties and blocks and can also offer insight towards understanding the connection between stress and burnout.
Coaching offers leverage points for growth and works well for people who have the desire to learn and grow. In some situations, therapy may be more appropriate and sometimes a balance of coaching and therapy is more effective. The type of approach would be discussed prior to commencing any work together. Working collaboratively with me I hope you would feel accepted and valued and more able to make the decisions that will enhance your well-being.
Whether personal or professional coaching will help you to manage change positively. In my experience, it is important to find the right coach, as the professional relationship is key to success. I aim to help you to empower yourself to meet and exceed your personal and professional goals.
